It’s been a while since an update, but that’s partly because this may wind up being the busiest year on record! There’s new photos and video to look at, and Angel is storyboarding a new Lord Itchy episode.

Summer went by way too fast, but we had fun while it lasted! The Texas Hill Country has been blessed with more rain than usual, which meant that we got to use the new kayak a bit. Angel piloted his own small kayak for the first time on a trip down the Blanco river. It was wild and wooly!
Elizabeth was on tour in Europe most of the summer, but Angel and I made trips to Fredricksburg, TX, to the Nimitz National Museum of the Pacific War, and to the Ozarks to see family. Angel also wanted to visit Pea Ridge National Military Park and Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park. We also got to go swimming at the old swimming hole where our family vacationed when I was Angel’s age. Great fun! We even saw a water moccasin, but I suggested that Angel not tell his Grandmother.
Check out the photo page for more on the summer vacation.
Now school’s back in session and Angel’s in 4th grade this year. Elizabeth is back from Europe and holding down the home fort, while I’m back on tour with Edwin until close to the end of September, when the guard changes again and Elizabeth goes back to Europe for one more tour this year. Looks like we will all be around for the holidays, as well as some friends visiting from Italy. Now that’s gotta make you hungry!
